Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Sales Associate / Lotto Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist customers with greeting cards, gifts, and other merchandise.
- Process lottery transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, debit, and credit card payments.
- Verify identification and comply with all lottery regulations and policies.
- Restock shelves and maintain attractive merchandise displays.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Assist with inventory counts and receiving merchandise.
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
- Experience with lottery sales is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be reliable, honest, and detail-oriented.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
