Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of laboratory setup, including equipment selection, installation, calibration, and validation
- Develop comprehensive testing procedures for peptide analysis, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices
- Implement quality control protocols to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability of test results
- Establish data collection systems to accurately record experimental outcomes and facilitate analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency and troubleshoot technical issues during setup
- Train laboratory staff on new equipment, testing procedures, safety protocols, and data management practices
- Maintain detailed documentation of all setup processes, calibration records, and quality assurance activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in laboratory setup or technical roles within a scientific or biotech environment, preferably with peptide or biochemistry focus
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and data collection methodologies in laboratory settings
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately
- Solid foundation in mathematics relevant to laboratory measurements and calculations
- Hands-on laboratory experience with equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and process implementation
- Effective communication skills to train team members and collaborate across departments
