Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join NEXCFO. This role focuses on visiting local businesses, identifying potential clients, introducing NEXCFO’s AI-powered financial reporting and business automation solutions, and helping business owners understand how our platform can improve their operations.
The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with small and medium-sized business owners, has strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, and is motivated by building relationships through in-person outreach. Experience in B2B sales, local business development, SaaS sales, financial services, or technology solutions is preferred. Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or other commonly used community languages is a strong asset.

Duties
Identify and prospect potential local business clients through door-to-door visits, referrals, community networking, and targeted outreach.
Conduct face-to-face meetings with business owners and decision-makers to introduce NEXCFO’s services.
Explain how NEXCFO can help businesses with financial reporting, performance dashboards, bookkeeping insights, workflow automation, and AI-assisted business analysis.
Understand each client’s current pain points, including manual reporting, unclear financial visibility, inefficient processes, or lack of time to analyze business performance.
Develop customized service recommendations based on each business’s size, industry, current tools, and operational needs.
Build trust with local business owners and maintain ongoing relationships after the initial introduction.
Follow up with prospects through phone, email, WeChat, SMS, or in-person visits to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Negotiate service packages, pricing, and onboarding terms while maintaining company profitability.
Collaborate with the internal NEXCFO team to ensure smooth client onboarding and proper handoff after a sale is closed.
Collect market feedback from local businesses to help improve NEXCFO’s products, pricing, and sales strategy.
Use CRM tools or internal tracking systems to record leads, client interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress.
Prepare regular sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and local market feedback for management.
Attend local business events, community gatherings, trade shows, and networking functions to promote NEXCFO.
Qualifications
Previous experience in field sales, outside sales, B2B sales, SaaS sales, financial services, local business development, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially with small business owners and local merchants.
Ability to explain technology, AI tools, financial reporting, and automation concepts in simple, practical language.
Self-motivated and comfortable approaching new businesses in person.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to identify client needs and close deals.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term business relationships.
Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, or basic sales tracking tools.
Ability to work independently while staying aligned with NEXCFO’s sales strategy and internal team.
Knowledge of small business operations, bookkeeping, accounting, restaurant operations, retail, service businesses, or e-commerce is an asset.
Fluency in English is required. Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, or other additional languages are strong assets.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are preferred for visiting clients across local business areas.
