Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work to create durable foundations and structures
- Install drywall, flooring, tile, siding, and cabinets with precision and attention to detail
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and effectively during various phases of construction
- Perform roofing, siding, caulking, and painting tasks to enhance building integrity and aesthetics
- Support plumbing and electrical installations by following schematics and technical instructions
- Conduct heavy lifting and material handling to ensure timely progress on job sites while maintaining safety protocols
- Assist in construction estimating by providing accurate measurements and material requirements when needed
- Participate in restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing structures with craftsmanship and care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or woodworking
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, and other construction machinery
- Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, roofing, siding, caulking, and painting techniques
- Familiarity with plumbing systems and electrical components is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid experience in construction estimating or manufacturing processes is advantageous
- Handyman experience or general renovation skills are beneficial for versatile project support
