We are currently looking for an experience and dedicated individual to join our client production team in the Vaughan region. Our client is a leader in custom fabrication company specializing in plastic component supply, retail environments and product display manufacturing.
The ideal candidate must be looking for a permanent opportunity and must have prior experience as a 5 axis CNC machinist
Shifts Available:
Afternoon: 3:00 pm till 11:30 pm
Night: 11:00 pm till 7:30 am
Job Requirements:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings of blueprints, charts and tables
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
- Verify dimensions and parts machined using precise measuring instruments (ex. micrometers, calipers)
- Set up and adjust production machinery/tools
- Set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- The ability to determine correct materials as written on production work orders.
- To be able to run multiple machines and understand the importance of having the machines running at all times.
Education:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2-5 years works related experience
- 5-Axis DMS machine experience is required
