A career as a trust advisor on the Fiduciary Services and Advisory team at National Bank Trust means playing a key role in the management and administration of fiduciary files across Canada. You are responsible for files entrusted to an external partner covering the full scope of fiduciary services, ensuring rigorous follow-up and steady progression in a complex environment. Through your expertise in estate and trust administration, combined with a structured and proactive approach, you directly contribute to operational excellence and a distinctive client experience.
Your role
- Manage and oversee fiduciary files assigned to an external partner, ensuring compliance with timelines and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate activities related to file progression to maintain quality, consistency and proactive management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, contributing to a consistent and high-quality client experience
- Support the administration of estate, trust and protection mandate files, including acting as administrator when required
- Provide administrative and documentation support to ensure efficient file processing
- Contribute to team activities and, as needed, support client communications and meetings

Within the Fiduciary Services and Advisory sector, you’ll be part of a committed team and report to the Senior Director. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, law, finance or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience in estate, trust or protection mandate administration, or other relevant fiduciary experience
- Experience in an advisory/client service role, including managing complex and ambiguous situations
- Professional designation or membership (STEP, Bar, Chamber of Notaries, Financial Planning Institute), an asset
