1 ‑ Part Time ‑ Helper

Laundry

This position has no set schedule, casual call‑ins

This position will involve working the Day and Weekend shifts. The shift is not to be interpreted as a guarantee.

Reporting to the Manager ‑ Laundry/Linen Services, the Laundry Helper participates as a member of the

Laundry/Linen team and understands the role of all members of the team. The incumbent will have the maturity

required to work effectively with all levels of staff and participate in a structured approach of problem solving.

Qualifications:
  • Must have Grade 12 education
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English at a level required to perform the duties of the job
  • Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job and work within environmental elements
  • Previous experience in a laundry facility with knowledge of folding procedures and the laundry process required
  • Must understand the use of computers and Microsoft programs
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision, show teamwork skills, logical thinker and self motivation
Salary Range: $22.211 to 22.518
