Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing materials, safety protocols, and construction practices to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Transportation is required.
Responsibilities
- Install roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, membranes, and other roofing systems according to project requirements.
- Repair or replace damaged roofing components, ensuring weatherproofing and durability.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding safely to perform roofing tasks efficiently.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, removing old roofing materials, and applying necessary underlayment or insulation layers.
- Measure and cut materials accurately.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety regulations to prevent accidents on-site.
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools and scaffolding setup.
- Experience in roof installation.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to roofing work and general construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- Physical stamina for working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
