We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. The chosen candidate must be able to work independently and problem solve, while demonstrating attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
- Conduct provincial motor vehicle inspections
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure all repairs meet industry standards
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move parts or equipment safely
Requirements
- Valid mechanic license or certification required
- Proven mechanic experience
- Valid driver's license
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems
- Experience with welding, schematics reading, assembly, and maintenance tasks
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Alignment experience
- Prior experience with automotive repair software or systems is a plus
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
