Director, Ticket Sales

The Director, Ticket Sales is responsible for the ticket sales and operations efforts for the purpose of generating revenue and achieving customer satisfaction under the vision and values set by the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and sales efforts for full season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, single game tickets, and any other ticket initiatives as directed
  • Establish strong relationships with existing and new customers
  • Face to face meetings with group and B2B clients
  • Connect with B2C clients via phone calls, emails, and social selling techniques
  • Manage game-night ticket and customer relations program
  • Represent team at designated events for purpose of networking and sales
  • Primary team liaison with box-office operation
  • Create and manage all necessary Rebels functions within the Tickets Alberta (Paciolan) system
  • Create and manage sales reports when requested
  • Manage customer feedback related to ticket operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience
  • Displays strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Must be driven and self-motivated
  • Proficiency with computer software programs, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM software an asset
  • Ability to collaborate in a team atmosphere
  • Represents the organization in a professional manner

Other Considerations

  • Requires the ability to work all home games, as well as weekends, evenings, and holidays when necessary
  • Must have access to a vehicle at all times
