Nice to meet you! We’re Old Credit Brewing, a small, independent craft brewery in Port Credit, Mississauga. And my name is Chris — I’m the General Manager here.
Now, I’m sure you’ve seen a million of those AI-generated job postings with the same recycled bullet points and boilerplate responsibilities. You can probably even drop them into ChatGPT and get the perfect words to make your resume look like a match.
Fair enough. It’s 2026 — we get it. But here’s the thing: we’re not looking for a resume that ticks every box. We’re looking for a person who can actually have a conversation and help us out in our retail shop. Someone who can chat about our Amber Ale, show a home customer how to couple a keg, run the POS, pour a pint or two upstairs, and make sure every guest leaves feeling happy and helped.
We’ve been a Port Credit classic since 1994 — same spot, same family, same neighbourhood loyalty — and now we have expanded our hours until 9 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday so our taproom can stay open later. We need someone solid, responsible, and friendly to cover the front counter from about 3 PM or 4 PM in the afternoon until close at 9 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
The role starts at minimum wage, but we’re growing, and we’d love to find someone who wants to grow with us.
What you’ll need:
- Smart Serve (absolutely required)
- Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening availability
- A friendly, reliable presence with customers
- Willingness to pitch in across both retail and taproom
