We are currently looking for both Manual and CNC Machinist who will set up and operate precision milling and turning machines, multi axis machining centers to manufacture precision quality products. The machinist is responsible for independent machine setup, first piece validation and exceptional quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs a wide variety of activities on various machinery throughout the plant (i.e. CNC Machine, Manual Lathe, Manual Mills and/or Boring Mills)
- Follow all steps outlined on machine specific work instructions
- Read and work from part drawings
- Set up and operate CNC Precision Mill/Lathes, and/or Manual Mill/Lathes
- Inspect and record part quality utilizing various measurement equipment
- Assist primary operator to load blanks on machinery in a various department
- Use various pneumatic or electrical tools
- Ensure that the workplace is kept clean at the end of the shift and that all floors are swept
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
- 2 years + of Manual / CNC Machining experience required (Role/Level/Pay will be determined based on experience)
- Previous work experience using hand tools and measuring tools
- Inspection experience; CMM operation an asset
- Previous work experience with: Turning, Milling, Waterjet Cutting
- Ability to interpret and read CAD drawings
- Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of proper Health and Safety workplace practices
