Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CyberSecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's information systems and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data. This role requires a strong understanding of various security protocols, network configurations, and cloud environments. The CyberSecurity Specialist will work closely with IT teams to implement security measures and respond to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity using tools such as Nmap and other security software.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential threats.
- Manage Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and ensure proper configuration of SSL certificates.
- Collaborate with IT teams on secure configurations for Cisco routers and other network devices.
- Utilize Shell Scripting to automate security tasks and improve efficiency.
- Support secure file transfer protocols (SFTP) for data transmission.
- Maintain knowledge of current cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols including EIGRP, TCP/IP, and others.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with security tools and techniques for monitoring and protecting networks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are preferred but not required.

Pay: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
