Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between our organization, clients, and independent contractors.
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with schools, teachers, and educational stakeholders.
- Manage scheduling and logistics across multiple teams.
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and support contractors, including performance management and, when necessary, terminations.
- Provide guidance and support to contractors to foster a positive and productive work culture.
- Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently with minimal supervision.
- Navigate and resolve challenges quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
- Utilize technology tools to streamline processes and ensure effective communication.
- Support other operational areas as needed, including answering phones, booking school programs, and assisting the supplies team.
Flexibility Expectations
This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a team-first mindset. The successful candidate must be willing to:
- Provide coverage support during early mornings, evenings, or last-minute schedule changes due to Presenter coverage requests.
- Work outside of their typical schedule when needed to support clients, contractors, or team operations. Start earlier or stay later at the office when required to support office staff schedules.
- Help ensure seamless program delivery by stepping in, troubleshooting challenges, and finding solutions when unexpected situations arise.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in client and contractor relations, ideally in an education-focused or service-based setting.
- Relevant post-secondary education, including Early Childhood Education, Educational Assistant Studies, Social Work, Human Resources, Education, or a related field, is considered a strong asset.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities; must be personable, professional, and approachable.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs.
- High proficiency in technology tools and the ability to quickly learn internal business applications and software.
- Strong decision-making skills and comfort addressing difficult personnel matters when needed.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
