Our Video Content Creator will help grow our YouTube and social channels. If you have a passion for photo/video technologies and love for all image-making tools, we want to hear from you

PRINCIPAL FOCUS:
Under the direction of the Marketing Manager or their delegate, the Video Content Creator is responsible for helping to grow Vistek’s Youtube and social media presence by producing engaging and informative video content that embodies the quality and values of Vistek.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce technology focused video content from conception to production, and though post production editing and promotion of the finished product
Work closely with the marketing team to accomplish shared initiatives like product launches or features
Creating promotional videos for upcoming Vistek Events
Producing product comparison videos
Capturing the event for post event content
Creating engaging product launch videos for new products
Creating and producing “How To” videos for Tips, Tricks and Techniques
Creating internal training videos
Ad Hoc projects to support marketing initiatives

COMPETENCIES:
Ability to deliver technical content that is both entertaining and easily understood by the average viewer and professionals.
Excellent interpersonal skills, must be able to work seamlessly with the video content team to help produce larger projects
General proficiency, competence and knowledge of modern photography and cinematography equipment
A professional or artistic background and general passion for photography and/or film & video production
Self-starter attitude and ability to form an interesting POV when it comes to content creation
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with all types of people in a positive fashion

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualified candidates will have:
Graduated from a recognized college or university photographic or video program
A dynamic and engaging on-camera presence – MUST be very comfortable speaking on-camera.
Ability to produce self-recorded content - the role requires both “behind and in-front” of camera work
5+ years of experience in operating digital cinema cameras
Demonstrated excellence in lighting, sound recording, staging and general production techniques
Proficient in editing in Adobe Premiere CC.
A driver's license is a benefit, but not mandatory.
