About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Supervisor to join our Technical Services team in Barrie, Ontario. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who is skilled in technical oversight and dedicated to providing high-quality customer service. As a Field Operations Supervisor, you will oversee and support a team of Field Technicians and Installers, focusing on training, performance, and safety to ensure service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Development
- Plan and conduct technical training sessions to build team skills and address any skill gaps.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to Field Technicians, supporting their career growth and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Available to provide support to on-call technicians after hours as needed.
Efficiency and Organization
- Monitor field activities to ensure efficient processes, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and help improve reliability and quality of technical services.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and contribute to budget planning.
Customer Service
- Set and communicate standards for technical work to ensure alignment with company and customer expectations.
- Respond to customer inquiries, address any issues proactively, and gather feedback to improve service quality.
- Work closely with the Operations and Project Management teams to ensure efficient scheduling and job preparation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a field service or supervisory role, with strong skills in training and performance management.
- Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations, ISO standards, and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
