Job Overview:
As a Picker/Packer at our Child Care Agency, you will play a vital role in our mission to support children and families in our community. Your primary responsibility is to accurately and compassionately assemble orders of essential supplies, including educational materials, hygiene kits, nutritional food, and infant formula.
Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on pick lists or digital orders for various child care programs and partner agencies.
- Carefully pack items with attention to product safety and fragility, ensuring contents are secure and well-protected for transit.
- Verify order accuracy against packing slips to ensure 100% correctness before shipment.
- Label each package correctly and prepare necessary shipping documentation.
Inventory & Warehouse Stewardship:
- Perform regular cycle counts and report inventory levels to prevent shortages of critical items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized warehouse environment.
- Identify and segregate any damaged or expired products, reporting them immediately to a supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Basic math skills for counting inventory.
Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethic.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $21.79-$25.74 per hour
