Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and energetic Prep Cook to join our shawarma restaurant team. This role is responsible for preparing food, wrapping shawarma sandwiches, assisting with kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness standards, and helping close the restaurant each night. The ideal candidate is punctual, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with customers and coworkers, and takes pride in keeping the restaurant clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and complete daily food prep tasks.
- Assemble and wrap shawarma sandwiches accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen operations as required.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment throughout each shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
- Wash dishes, clean equipment, and complete closing duties.
- Assist with daily cleaning tasks and end-of-night store cleanup.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements

- Reliable transportation and ability to commute consistently and on time.
- Ability to work evening shifts and stay after closing to complete cleaning duties.
- Ability to follow instructions and sanitation procedures.

- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is considered a strong asset.
Hours
- Part-time position only.
- Approximately 25–27 hours per week.
- Evening shifts, typically beginning around 5:00 PM and ending after store closing and cleanup (approximately 12:00 AM).
- Schedule may vary based on business needs.
