Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) to support the development and well-being of young children in an educational setting. As an ECA, you will work closely with teachers and caregivers to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment that promotes early childhood growth. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive learning experiences for children while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the day.
Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning.
- Support children with activities that encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety at all times.
- Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean environment.
- Provide caregiving support by attending to children’s basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Observe and document children’s progress, sharing insights with teachers and parents as appropriate.
- Foster positive interactions among children to promote inclusivity, respect, and cooperation.
Requirements
- Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education settings.
- Strong understanding of caregiving practices relevant to early childhood development.
- Passion for teaching and supporting children’s growth through engaging activities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic educational environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues clearly and positively.
- Reliable, energetic, and committed to creating a safe and nurturing space for all children.
- Infant Program and Preschool Program 9 am - 6:00 pm
- $21.00 per hour ( All Government Wages included)
Pay: $21.00 per hour
