Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. We are currently turning away clients because our RMTs are at capacity. We are seeking an RMT to fill the need of our current and growing patient base. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being in a well established multidisciplinary clinic. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and tailor treatments accordingly. The Massage Therapist will create a calming environment that enhances the client experience and fosters repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or wellness practices.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene protocols.
- Maintain professional licensure and stay updated on industry best practices through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and anatomy.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain treatment procedures clearly.
- Ability to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.
- Prior experience in a therapeutic or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $90.00-$120.00 per hour
