Our client, a leading organization in logistics and warehousing, is seeking a Lead Shipper Receiver to join their team. As a Lead Shipper Receiver, you will be part of the Shipping & Receiving department supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, resilience, and a positive, team‑oriented attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Lead Shipper Receiver
Location: Surrey, BC
Pay Range: $23/hr
Shift: Mon to Fri, Day schedule
What's the Job?
- Lead daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate, timely, and safe movement of goods
- Verify inbound shipments from vendors and other branches, ensuring documentation accuracy and condition of goods
- Prepare outbound shipments, including customer orders and branch transfers, following company procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment adhering to 5S standards
- Train and mentor new team members, supporting continuous improvement initiatives within Shipping & Receiving
What's Needed?
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years forklift operation experience with valid license
- Experience preparing courier, LTL, and cross-border shipments
- Knowledge of warehouse documentation such as BOL, manifests, and waybills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate lifting equipment safely
