Competitive Pay + Opportunity to Grow

- $18/hr – Rookie (Training | 2–4 weeks based on performance)
- $20/hr – Junior Mover
- $22.50/hr – Senior Mover
- $25/hr – Crew Chief
- $26–$27/hr – Senior Crew Chief
Pay is based on experience, driving ability, performance, and leadership capability.
Strong employees are given opportunities to take on more responsibility and move into higher-paying roles.

What You’ll Be Doing
As part of a Cardinal Moving crew, you’ll:
- Safely lift, carry, load, and unload household furniture and belongings
- Wrap and protect furniture before transportation
- Protect floors, doorways, railings, and customer homes
- Properly load moving trucks to prevent shifting and damage
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture when required
- Work efficiently as part of a moving crew
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Maintain moving equipment and company vehicles
- Keep trucks organized and clean
- Assist with residential, commercial, senior, packing, and specialty moves
- Deliver the level of service customers expect from Cardinal Moving

Previous moving experience is an asset, but attitude, work ethic, and reliability matter just as much.
We can teach someone how to become a great mover.
We can’t teach someone to care.
Requirements
- Physically capable of repeatedly lifting and carrying heavy furniture
- Comfortable lifting items weighing 75–100+ lbs with assistance when appropriate
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions
- Available for early mornings and occasional long days
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Strong English communication skills
- Able to work legally in Canada
- Able to pass a criminal background check if required
Drivers and applicants comfortable operating moving trucks are strongly preferred.
