We are currently seeking a Construction Estimator to join our growing team in the Design and Engineering Department. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial modular construction projects, including material take-offs, supplier pricing, subcontractor quotes, and project change pricing.

Qualifications
· Post-secondary education in engineering technology, construction management, architectural technology, or a related field is preferred
· Equivalent experience in residential construction, estimating, project coordination, or a skilled trade will also be considered
· Minimum 2 years of construction estimating experience preferred
· Knowledge of the National Building Code of Canada, especially Part 3 and Part 9
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
· Experience with estimating or take-off software such as PlanSwift, Timberline, Bluebeam, or similar programs
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
· AutoCAD experience is considered an asset
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
· Effective problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
· Prepare complete cost estimates for residential and commercial modular construction projects
· Complete quantity take-offs for architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes
· Review and interpret drawings, specifications, quotes, and project documents
· Prepare, manage, and track RFQs for suppliers and subcontractors
· Coordinate with Purchasing to confirm material pricing, supplier availability, and project requirements
· Analyze previous project costing information and historical data to improve estimate accuracy
· Prepare and price change orders as required
· Support project coordination activities once projects are approved
· Maintain accurate estimating records, supplier information, and project costing documentation
· Work closely with Design, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Production teams to support project success
