Kildare Renovations is seeking an experienced Renovation Carpenter to join our renovation team in St. John's, NL. The successful candidate must have no less than 5 years of residential construction and renovation experience, with the ability to complete framing, repairs, drywall, and detailed finishing work while maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties:
- Complete residential carpentry work including framing, repairs, renovations, and finishing.
- Install interior features including doors, trim, baseboards, casing, mouldings, and stair components.
- Perform drywall installation, repairs, and finishing as required.
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and site measurements.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials.
- Complete framing tasks including walls, floors, and structural repairs.
- Install windows, doors, hardware, and other interior components.
- Complete finish carpentry with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work closely with Project Leads and team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction or renovation experience.
- Strong experience in both rough and finish carpentry.
- Experience with framing, drywall, trim work, and interior finishing.
- Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements.
- Proficient in the safe use of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Positive work references required.
- Must pass a background check.
- English required.
