Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to support the Accounting, Inventory, and Human Resources departments while contributing to various administrative tasks. This is a full-time salary position, non-exempt from overtime pay, and reports directly to the Human Resources Department.
Key Responsibilities:
In this multifaceted role, your responsibilities will include:

Accounts Receivable:
-
Customer Maintenance, process payments/refunds, reconcile invoices, and maintain AR systems (including Avalara and Atradius).

Maintain Customer Portal and involved in implementation
-
Maintain AR forms, SOP’s and reporting
-
Accounts Payable:
-
Vendor Maintenance, process vendor documents and payments, and creation of SOP’s and maintenance.

Inventory Control (Backup):
-
Support inventory adjustments, transfers, counts and shipment reconciliation in Dynamics BC.

Clerical Support:
-
Perform tasks such as data entry, file management, and supply ordering and support in other administrative areas as needed.

Human Resources Support:
-
Assist with HR in benefits enrolment, education, changes and employee inquiries & communication

Collaborate and support HR in development, review and refinement of policies and procedures

Support HR in the yearly review and refinement of all job descriptions
Requirements:
-
Minimum 2 years of office-related experience.
-
Proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to learn new software.

Strong math skills (Grade 12 equivalent).
-
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities.
-
Experience in Human Resources or a strong interest in the field is a plus.
