BURNCO has a tremendous opportunity for an Oracle Application Support Specialist – Procurement & SCM based out of our corporate headquarters in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to our Application Support Lead and working closely with the IT Team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an Application Support Specialist, your primary focus will be on managing, implementing, and supporting Procurement and SCM applications. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our supply chain systems, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and providing expert support to end-users.
Your daily responsibilities will include assisting stakeholders with issue resolution, enhancements, and executing project requirements. This encompasses analysis, design, scheduling, development, and delivery of Oracle Procurement and SCM development components. You will also be actively involved in Oracle upgrades, including regression and new feature testing.
REALITY OF THE JOB
- Standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular work week from Monday to Friday, though off-hours work may be required.
- Some on-call work is necessary.
- Work-from-home arrangements to be discussed with the incumbent.
- Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure, and manage stress.
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU
- Minimum 6+ years of proven demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Product Owner, or Business Consultant on Oracle Fusion ERP.
- 5+ years of experience with managing and implementing Oracle Procurement and SCM.
- 2-3 end-to-end Oracle Cloud Procurement and SCM module implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP (Procurement, Inventory, Cost Management, Receipt Accounting, Order Management, Supply Chain Planning), FBDI.
- Handle Month-end issues independently and propose best practices.
- Business-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently with little guidance or reliance on oral/written instructions.
- Cloud Certifications in Cloud Applications and experience in the procurement or supply chain management industry is an asset.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in information technology or a business-related discipline is an asset.
- Any related/additional qualifications for these above would be considered.
