We are seeking experienced MIG , Tig and Stick Welders for one of our client located in Guelph and Cambridge ON. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to blueprints and specifications. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
- Use basic math skills to calculate measurements and dimensions
- Operate forklifts and cranes to move materials as needed
- Assemble and build metal structures using various tools and equipment
- Operate press brake machines for bending metal sheets
- Rig heavy materials for lifting and positioning
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MIG or TIG/Stick Welder
- Proficient in blueprint reading and welding techniques
- Strong knowledge of basic math calculations
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely
- Skilled in assembling and building metal structures
- Familiarity with press brake machines for bending metal sheets
- Ability to rig heavy materials for lifting and positioning
