Job Description
Mediglen Pharmacy & Compounding is a community pharmacy in Coquitlam focused on compounding, blister-pack medication management, and at-home services for seniors. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented full-time Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacists and technicians in daily dispensing and patient care.
In this role, you will assist with prescription intake, data entry, and dispensing, prepare blister packs and compliance packaging, and help manage inventory and wholesaler orders. You will also process insurance and PharmaCare claims, handle refills, and provide front-counter service to patients, prescribers, and insurers.
We are looking for someone who works accurately, communicates clearly, and takes a professional, patient-focused approach. Previous pharmacy experience is preferred. Experience with Kroll dispensing software, compounding, or blister packing is a plus. Fluency in English is required, and the ability to speak Farsi or Punjabi is an asset.
This is a full-time position with a stable weekday schedule, extended health insurance, and on-site parking. Compensation is $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience.
