Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating exceptional customer experiences. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable time at our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order entry and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
- Assist with kitchen tasks as needed, ensuring timely service during busy periods.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Requirements
- Previous serving/bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage service standards.
- Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- A friendly demeanor with exceptional hospitality skills to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
