Job Summary
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Logistics Coordinator oversees all aspects of the supply chain operations within the assigned region(s), including organizing and managing inventory, storage and transportation.
Responsibilities
Logistic planning and inventory management
- Coordinating and dispatching daily fuel deliveries for customers.
- Communicating with the Drivers to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled.
- Complete daily/weekly inventory reconciliations.
- Inventory management through tank monitor systems to ensure that fuel supply is readily available.
- Collaborate with supervisory staff to ensure financial and operational targets are achieved.
Invoicing and account management
- Receive and process bill of lading into operations system.
- Complete daily paperwork for customer invoicing.
- Receive and apply payments to customer accounts.
- Email/mail account statements to customers for payment.
- Review monthly account receivable balances for overdue accounts.
- Account maintenance in the operations system for any changes or updates.
Sales generation and customer service
- Communicate to customers and provide service when needed.
- Work on providing customers with pricing options.
- Answering customer queries and addressing customer concerns.
- Working with Regional Managers and customers to provide optimal solutions for mutual satisfaction.
- Look for opportunities or provide suggestions for potential business growth.
General duties and responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and plan fuel deliveries to meet customer needs.
- Complete and process daily paperwork into system.
- Customer invoicing and payment collection.
- Inventory management and control.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Skills & Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2-3 years experience in a similar and/or Transportation industry.
- Experience using Computer systems and software for Dispatch, Inventory control, Invoicing.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, dependable.
- High attention to detail and ability to problem solve, plan and prioritize demands.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
