Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Take Out team member to join our restaurant staff. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, accurately process orders, and ensure a smooth take-out experience for our customers. This role is vital in delivering a positive dining experience and supporting the overall operations of the restaurant. Previous hospitality or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their take-out orders via phone or in person
- Accurately take and input orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Pack orders carefully to maintain food quality and presentation during delivery or pickup
- Manage cash register transactions and process payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the take-out area
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction and encourage repeat business
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in food service or restaurant operations is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
