Duties & Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for an Bar Events Manager for Edna + Vita We will prepare and support you for success in this role where sales growth and success will be rewarded. You will be placed in an environment that has the highest standards and with a team that has a positive attitude and a winning mindset.
As a Bar Events Manager for you will be responsible for the following:
Qualifications:
-
1-3 years previous restaurant management/supervisory experience in a comparable restaurant environment
-
3 years-experience running bar promotions, building bar sales including late night in a premium restaurant environment.
-
Flexible schedule availability to meet business needs, weekend/evening work is required.
-
Familiarity with bar and beverage trends and developments.
-
Creativity in crafting internal and external events.
-
Demonstrated understanding of attendees’ needs.
-
Willingness to delegate tasks and organize a team.
-
Ability to communicate and negotiate with external vendors and service providers.
-
Accomplished mixologist.
-
Diploma or degree in hospitality or culinary is considered an asset
-
Previous experience in bar manager role is preferred.
-
Prud'homme and/or Cicerone training is an asset.
-
WSET training is an asset.
-
Dedicated to meeting high standards.
-
Smart Serve Certification. Proficient in English verbal and written communication and possess great interpersonal skills. Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
