Our team of Rehabilitation Specialists support our members in returning to work through rehabilitation and comprehensive disability case management services.
We are seeking a highly motivated Rehabilitation Services Administration Clerk to join the Disability & Rehabilitation (D&R) department.
Reporting to the Manager, Rehabilitation Services, this role provides comprehensive administrative support to the Rehabilitation Services team.

In your first three months as Rehabilitation Services Administration Clerk, you will:
- Develop a strong understanding of departmental procedures, the Disability & Rehabilitation (D&R) Plan, and our internal disability management system
- Establish yourself as a dependable administrative resource supporting the Rehabilitation Services team
- Prepare, review, and maintain claims and rehabilitation documentation
- Review, prepare, and process invoices accurately and efficiently
- Manage incoming administrative requests and ensure timely completion
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Provide departmental support, including reception coverage as required
Your responsibilities will increase to:
- Coordinating meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Supporting the D&R Management team with project work and cyclical tasks
- Triaging incoming phone calls from members and medical providers
- Assisting in the development and improvement of policies and procedures to enhance member support
Qualifications for Your Success:
Experience & Education
- A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment
- Post-secondary education in Business or Health Services Administration
- Experience in medical, disability, or benefits settings is preferred
- Completion of a medical terminology course is considered an asset

Knowledge, Competencies & Skills
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience preparing a variety of administrative documents
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing demands
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Customer-focused, adaptable, and approachable in supporting team members and stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced skills in Word and Excel
- Ability to quickly learn internal systems and effectively train others on their use
- Commitment to continuous learning and ongoing professional development
