As a Store Manager at Plato's Closet, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, driving revenue growth, increasing customer count, and optimizing key retail metrics. You will lead a team of dedicated staff members, manage inventory, and ensure exceptional customer service to maximize revenue per square foot. This position requires strong leadership skills, retail management experience, and a passion for delivering an outstanding shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
Customer Count Growth: Implement initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Average Transaction Size Growth: Train and coach staff to upsell and cross-sell products to increase average transaction size.
Maximizing Revenue Per Sqft: Optimize store layout, merchandising, and promotions to maximize revenue per square foot.
Effective Staff Management: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and improve turnover. Customer Service Excellence: Set a high standard for customer service and ensure all staff members deliver a positive and memorable shopping experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize store performance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
