Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspections, machining inspections and weld inspections at both Tilbury & Oldcastle plants
- Operate FARO equipment and complete reports
- Complete PPAP and other quality documentation as required
- Work with team members to troubleshoot errors throughout build
- Work with machining vendors to improve quality including surveys and evaluations
- Assist sales and estimating in determining inspection requirements at time of estimating
- Conduct source inspections & in-house inspections on critical jobs as required
- Accumulate non-conformance information in a timely manner to produce monthly reports and assist in the implementation of remedial actions and timely closure of NCRs
- Lead root cause analysis of internal & external non-conformances
- Schedule calibration of equipment and customer surveys as required
Qualifications
- FARO equipment experience
- CWB Level 1 Inspector Certification
- Quality related courses/certificates
- Understanding of statistical processes
- Blueprint Reading
- Knowledge of Kebrite/Access/Word/Autocad/Solidworks
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Weld Quality: 3 years (required)
- Blueprint Reading: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- CWB Level 1 Weld Inspector Certification (preferred)
