Position: Structural Engineer
Pay: CA$60,000.00-CA$95,000.00 per year based on experience

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Vancouver office. This role requires a self-driven individual who is enthusiastic about their work and committed to growing with our company. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and producing detailed structural designs and specifications across a variety of building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design engineered railings, trellises, canopies, and architectural screen systems in compliance with applicable building codes and standards
- Develop structural concepts and detailed designs for building and secondary structural elements
Perform structural analysis and calculations for gravity, wind, seismic, and serviceability loads
- Prepare construction-ready drawings, details, and structural specifications
- Coordinate designs with architects, fabricators, and other engineering disciplines to ensure constructability and integration
- Review shop drawings and respond to fabrication and installation queries during construction
- Prepare technical memoranda, engineering reports, and calculation packages
- Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Conduct site surveys, condition assessments, and field reviews
- Provide construction administration services, including shop drawing review, RFI response, and site inspections
- Ensure designs meet applicable building codes, standards, and client requirements
- Coordinate project work with other engineering disciplines and architects
- Manage assigned project tasks, schedules, and deliverables
- Develop record (as-built) drawings
- Incorporate sustainable and efficient design principles where applicable
Requirements:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools
- Proven ability to prepare structural designs, drawings, and technical documentation
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and flexible
- Initiative-taking attitude, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, teamwork, and creativity
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Ability to interface with clients and translate project requirements into technical deliverables
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education & Experience:
- Structural Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or 3rd–4th year Structural Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
- AutoCAD: 2 years (required)
- Structural Design: 2 years (preferred)
