About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical aesthetics industry.
The ideal candidate has a genuine love for skin and medical aesthetics, enjoys educating patients, and wants to become highly skilled in advanced laser and energy-based treatments.
You will work alongside experienced medical aesthetic professionals in a collaborative environment with access to advanced technologies, ongoing education, and opportunities to expand your clinical knowledge and treatment expertise.
This position offers the opportunity to grow within GLO as our practice continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform and support:
- Comprehensive skincare and treatment consultations
- VISIA Skin Analysis and patient education
- Development of customized treatment plans based on skin condition, concerns, goals, lifestyle, and budget
- Medical-grade facials and advanced skincare treatments
- Chemical peels
- Dermaplaning
- Microneedling
- Laser hair removal
- Photofacial and BBL treatments
- Advanced laser resurfacing treatments
- Body contouring treatments including CoolSculpting
- Pre- and post-treatment patient education and care
- Medical-grade skincare recommendations and long-term skin planning
- Accurate patient documentation and treatment records
- Following clinic protocols, treatment parameters, safety standards, and infection-prevention procedures
- Supporting the overall patient experience throughout their journey with GLO
- Participating in ongoing education, training, team meetings, and clinical development
- Participating in and contributing to social media content and patient education initiatives
Training on specific technologies and devices may be provided for the right experienced candidate.

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of professional medical aesthetics / laser experience
- Demonstrated hands-on experience providing aesthetic treatments
- Strong understanding of skin health, skincare, and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Preferred
- Medical Aesthetician Diploma or recognized aesthetic training
- Laser Technician certification or equivalent training
- Certification or experience in dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, BBL/IPL, laser resurfacing, laser hair removal, or body contouring
Specific device experience is an asset, but we recognize that great clinicians can be trained on new technology.

Position: Part-time to Full-time

Compensation: Starting compensation will be based on experience, expertise, and demonstrated skill level.
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
