Job Summary
Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP), a subsidiary of Z’gamok Enterprises Inc., an Indigenous business fully owned by Sagamok Anishnawbek, provides a diverse range of services across multiple business segments, including construction, haulage, sand and gravel supply, and surface mining services.
Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP) is recruiting a hard-working, self-motivated individual with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of DZ Driver.
The DZ Driver is responsible for completing short haul deliveries in and around the Greater Sudbury area. Hauling includes but is not limited to waste rock, sand, and other aggregates.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Operate triaxle dump truck to transport aggregates, and construction materials
· Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment, both interior and exterior
· Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
· Ensure safe loading, hauling, and dumping procedures
· Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
· Follow all MTO regulations and company safety policies
· Maintain accurate log in compliance with current laws and regulations.
· Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
· Comply with Z’gamok Construction LP’s policies and procedures.
· Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
· Experience with driving manual transmission
· Valid class DZ License; clean drivers abstract
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience of triaxle or dump truck experience
· Ability to work extended hours
· Site specific training based on contractual needs
