The Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan (HSAS) is a union representing more than 4,000 health care professionals who work within the Saskatchewan Health Authority, several privately owned EMS services in Saskatchewan, and at Canadian Blood Services in Regina. Communications Coordinator - Regina
The Position
Located in Regina and reporting to the Manager of Communications, the Communications Coordinator is responsible for the provision of a wide range of diverse administrative and support services for the Communications Team. Duties and responsibilities include:
· HSAS Store Support: SKU management, organization/counts, order fulfillment, management of website stock/updates, maintain store/swag area
· Email Management: managing email list maintenance - pulling lists from UnionWare, updating email addresses, reconciliation of Active Campaign (email marketing tool) with UnionWare information – database management, Communication inbox management.
· Communications Document Management: managing communications drive and comms assets, managing communication asset requests (logo, PPX example)
· Document Formatting and Editing: Constitution and Bylaws and agreements print and web-formatting, proofreading, copy-editing, Directory updates
· HSAS Mailout Tracking: New member Orientation, Ambassadors, OH&S mailouts and management of tracking of supplies and spreadsheet/database
· Communications Event Support: Convention planning and fulfillment. Prepare swag for events/pickup/mailout
· Website Management: Basic website updates
· Communications Team Support: Other duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role within a unionized environment;
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite;
