We're currently looking for a dynamic, bilingual IT technician for a full-time, permanent role with us. This technician will be placed with our client located on the island of Montreal in Centre Ville, QC. who is the largest family-owned wine importer in Canada. Our client promotes and distributes superior quality wines in order to propel them as leaders in their category.
Position summary:
The candidate is responsible for providing solutions for projects or problems using his/her experience and knowledge of several computer technologies. He/she must also be able to provide work methodology and documentation for the ongoing support of projects and customers.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Analyze current capabilities and prerequisites of the environment.

Recommend improvements to the environment and work plan.

Develop solutions and work structure to deliver / support integration.

Be able to solve unanticipated problems.

Handle and follow up problems and requests: manage priorities and time.

Document and ensure quality of interventions.

Ability to manage N2 and N3 technicians.

Maintain and update infrastructures and equipment.
-
Meet customer requests according to contractual terms and offer advice in defining new requirements.
Skills :
-
Virtualization technologies: VMware, Hyper-V, Azure VM.
-
Systems knowledge: Windows Server, IIS, Exchange, Active Directory, Azure AD.

Knowledge of cloud technologies, Azure IAAS and PAAS: Azure Backups, InTune, Autopilot, Bastion, WAF, VPN Gateway, etc.

Knowledge of Office 365: SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online.

Knowledge of security technologies: firewalls (Fortinet, Watchguard), VPN, MFA, ConditionalAccess, etc.

Knowledge of network infrastructures: Fortinet, Cisco, HP(switch and WIFI).
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position

Degree in Information Technology or equivalent;

Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Demonstrate a good level of autonomy (good planning, good follow-up and accountability, initiative).

Ability to work as part of a team.

Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with a fast pace and tight deadlines.
