Position Summary:
MAIN DUTIES:
You must be affiliated and in good standing with either Liuna or the Opering Engineers of Ontario.
you must be available for province wide travel throughout Ontario.
- Abide by health and safety regulations, learn all require paperwork for machine/equipment inspections and related safety documentation as required.
- Learn and perform all duties relative micropile work, including operating equipment such as drill rigs, compressors, grout plants, skid steers, and telehandlers, mixing and pouring grout, cutoffs and clean up tasks.
- Complete pile records the encountered depths and locations.
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance work on drilling rigs and equipment.
- Interact with and follow directions from drilling superintendent, health and safety and operations as required.
- Accurately read and comprehend construction drawings and locates
- Ongoing communication with fellow crew members re: safety concerns, job planning, and instruction are understood by all
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Perform operating and physical labor in all sorts of weather, wearing protective equipment.
- Lift and handle heavy materials/tooling associated with the job.
- Noise, adverse weather conditions, wind, heat, and cold are examples of environments you would be working in.
- The hours may be long, irregular and may require working out of town for extended periods of time due to job requirements
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid G Class Drivers License with suitable record.
- Recognized post secondary program related to Resource Drilling, and experience with various equipment or familiarity required at minimum.
- Experience operating heavy equipment (Grout Plant, Skid Steer, Telehandler, Grappler, and Excavator).
- Willingness to continually learn and take on relative responsibilities as required.
- Mechanical troubleshooting/basic field repair skills an asset.
- Understanding that all roles are required to work and learning the roles of the crew is essential.

Pay: $36.00-$46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
