JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Banquet Manager, the Banquet Server plays an essential role in creating welcoming and memorable guest experiences during weddings, conferences, corporate functions, and special events.
This position supports all aspects of banquet service, including event set-up, food and beverage service, maintaining event spaces, and tear-down.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, guest-focused, and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced event environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare banquet and event spaces, including tables, linens, décor, service stations, and other event requirements.
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests.
- Maintain knowledge of event menus, beverages, allergens, dietary accommodations, and service requirements.
- Clear, reset, and maintain banquet and service areas throughout events, assisting with tear-down and clean-up as required.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests while working collaboratively with the Banquets, Events, and Kitchen teams.
- Maintain clean, safe, organized, and well-stocked work areas while consistently upholding Tigh-Na-Mara’s service standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Valid Serving It Right certification is required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Professional, approachable, and guest-focused, with a positive attitude that contributes to a friendly and supportive workplace.
- Able to work efficiently, remain organized, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced event environment.
- Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift, carry, and move trays, banquet supplies, and equipment as required; previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience is considered an asset.
Pay Rate: $18.25 - $22.00 per hour plus gratuities
