OVERVIEW
Role Purpose: Design, develop, implement and maintain digital solutions that meet the business requirements of various organizational stakeholders
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
  • Responsible for both front end and back end programming; developing and designing front end architecture, and ensuring the responsiveness of applications. Required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Responsible for application lifecycle management (ALM), the specification, design, development and testing of software application covering the entire lifecycle from idea conception through to the development, testing, deployment, support of systems.
  • Takes an application through the entire lifecycle of analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Performs unit and system level testing on applications.
  • Authors/edits documentation on product user guide, issues, and development progress. Providing SOP’s and training to end users.
  • Provides support for SharePoint on-premise and online (Office 365)
  • Hands-on application / product support to end users across multiple systems / applications.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis and take appropriate action to remediate issues.
  • Provide advice and support to users in business requirements and identified issues.
  • Ensure fast response time and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate timely support ticket resolution with the development team.
  • Participates in rotating after hour on-call duty. Provides after-hours support and maintenance when needed.
  • Policies, Processes & Procedures: follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS,EXPERIENCE
  • 7+ years’ application development experience
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in SharePoint development, design and integration.
  • 3+ years’ experience in large enterprise or e-business systems implementation.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET MVC, NET Frameworks, API’s, X++
  • 5+ years’ experience with databases: SQL, MongoDB, MySQL
  • 5+ years’ experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap;
  • 3+ years Azure, Azure DevOps
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience with Office 365
  • Support experience in business software and SharePoint in particular.
  • Working understanding of business forms and processes
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft PowerApps and PowerApps components.
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Flow.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure, its services and integration between Azure services and Office 365 services.
  • Preferred experience with ERP systems such as MS Dynamics or D365
  • Ability to work on front-end and back-end when building applications
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Post-Secondary Degree (Bachelor of Science) preferred.
