Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chinese Language Teacher to teach after-school classes. This position involves teaching in-person group classes or on-line classes. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and is enthusiastic about Chinese language and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Chinese language and culture to groups of students
- Prepare engaging lesson plans
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment
- Assess student progress and communicate with parents when needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in Chinese language education
- Native-level proficiency in Mandarin; Cantonese ability is an asset
- know how to use zoom
- Must provide a clear criminal record check
- Patient, responsible, and passionate about education
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
