Job Summary
Evolution Water Testing and Treatment is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Water Treatment Technician to join our growing team. For 18 years, we have provided customized water treatment solutions to homeowners and businesses throughout Nova Scotia
Duties
- Install residential and light commercial water treatment systems.
- Perform annual maintenance and preventative service on water treatment equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot water treatment systems.
- Conduct on-site water quality testing and explain results to customers.
- Educate customers on the proper operation and maintenance of their water treatment systems.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate job documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle, tools and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing Evolution Water Testing and Treatment
- Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer installation guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with products and industry standards.
- Recommend appropriate water treatment solutions based on water quality testing and industry standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in residential or commercial water treatment installation, service and maintenance is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot water treatment equipment.
- Experience in plumbing, pump systems or other mechanical service trades is considered an asset.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing daily service appointments.
- Water treatment experience is valued; however, we are committed to training the right individual who possesses strong mechanical aptitude, professionalism and a positive attitude.
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Valid Nova Scotia Class "5" Driver's License with a clean driving abstract
- Ability to life 70 lbs
