We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Receptionist / Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Schedule appointments and coordinate physiotherapy sessions according to provider availability
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records as needed
- Assist physiotherapists with patient care activities, including setting up treatment areas and preparing necessary equipment
- Provide information to patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and clinic policies
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and processing payments
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and treatment rooms
- Support hospital staff with administrative duties related to patient care and clinic operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred, especially in acute care environments
- Strong knowledge of patient care procedures and hospital protocols
- Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient interaction
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
