Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Store Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and organized
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage inventory levels, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and ensure accurate cash register operations
- Support store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to merchandising standards
- Engage with customers using excellent communication skills, including bilingual support if applicable
- Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently completing tasks during shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Bilingual abilities (English plus additional languages) are a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising principles, and basic math skills required
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features confidently
- Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Friendly phone etiquette and professional appearance
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive attitude with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction
Pay: $17.60 per hour
