Cooksville Lumber Ltd. is a family-owned building supply company serving Mississauga and the surrounding area since 1965. We are committed to providing quality building materials and exceptional customer service to contractors, builders, and homeowners.
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Building Supply Sales Associate to join our team. This position is primarily based in-store and involves assisting customers, processing sales, answering product inquiries, and supporting daily store operations.

Responsibilities
- Assist contractors, builders, and homeowners with product selection and project needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
- Prepare quotations and process sales transactions.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding building materials, lumber, and hardware products.
- Receive, stock, organize, and merchandise inventory.
- Coordinate customer pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with yard staff and management to ensure excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of building supply, lumber, hardware, or related industry experience required.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, lumber, and hardware products.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems is an asset.
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
