Summary
- We are seeking a Community Relations Director to strengthen our community ties and promote our dental services. This pivotal role is based in Peterborough and offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in local health initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Strong ability with computers, Ai and social media
- Develop and implement community outreach programs to raise awareness of dental health.
- Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, and health agencies.
- Coordinate marketing efforts to promote the practice within the community.
- Organize educational events and seminars on oral health topics.
- Manage communication strategies across various platforms.
- Collaborate with the dental team to align community initiatives with practice goals.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of outreach activities.
Qualifications
University student in Peterborough looking for full time summer work with potential of part time school year hours
- Strong public speaking and communication skills.
- Experience in marketing or community engagement preferred.
- Excellent writing and proofreading abilities.
- Ability to research and analyze community needs.
- Proven ability to develop strategic outreach plans.
- Knowledge of local community resources is a plus.
- Creative mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or have PR as per Canada Summer Job program
