We are seeking a dedicated Facility Caretaker part time to potentially full time on a seasonal basis at Zimmer Air Services Thunder Bay Base.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
· Maintain hangar and office cleanliness
· Conduct weekly facility inspections during winter months
· Building and vehicle maintenance
· Monthly health and safety inspections
· Vehicle and equipment inspections and light repair prior to annual inspections and certification of equipment and ongoing as needed
· Maintain facility grounds (ie. Yard maintenance, outdoor facility improvements, etc)
· Maintain seasonal equipment and make repairs as needed for ground crews conducting operations during various contracts
· Receive and inventory annual herbicide deliveries
· Maintain proper records company credit cards and fuel cards and submit receipts to head office weekly.
· Assist with chemical transfer from storage yard to main facility (DZ License a plus)
· Assist with clean up with product totes and cleanliness of storage yard in Murillo
· Provide vehicle escort for chemical deliveries
· Assist management with any various projects they may have
· Assist crews during contracts with any and all repairs necessary
· Provide assistant to crews on an as needed basis during contract
· Order aviation fuel from Thunder Bay airport as needed and track receipts to send to head office.
· Assist in sourcing out local services and needs in the Thunder Bay area as required by operational demands
Necessary Qualifications
- A clean driving record
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs ·
- Available to start immediately

Must live locally in Thunder Bay as no relocation costs will be provided and be a permanent resident or canadian citizen. No other candidates will be considered at this time.
